Power Ballad of the Day September 2nd

Today: "High Enough" by Damn Yankees, the short-lived "super group" consisting of Ted Nugent, Jack Blades, Tommy Shaw and some guy on drums.

The video appears to have some sort of b&w Bonnie&Clyde concept to it, but if anyone can explain the story line beyond the observation that Ted Nugent has epic bad taste in clothes, I'd appreciate it.

I got aware of this song on the "absolute power ballads" album. Just brilliant.

...for some reason I always thought this song was made strictly for the purposes of bandwagon-jumping. I mean, it's not like Damn Yankees managed to produce a lot of songs of similar quality and commercial success, right?

I think this is the only Yankee song I know.
