Some music for the weekend

Since it's weekend, I thought I post some cool music clips for y'alls enjoyment.

First of, a charming version of You Shook Me All Night Long by AC/DC:

Second, on for Wilhelm, since I know he really likes Joe Satriani and he needs to relax a bit after this weeks IT-related challanges:

...Satch is Da Man and all, but the applause dude gets for that just goes to show how easy it was to please an audience in the early 90's following Cobain's disastrous effect on popular music.

...seeing as how I'm a Brad Paisley fan......

SRV did a wonderful "MTV Unplugged" segment if I'm not mistaken

You're right. He was on with Satriani. That's why I knew Satriani has been on there. Some really great unplugged versions by SRV.

What I really liked about the Satriana segment, was that he (and SRV as well) was really true to the concept of "unplugged" music. Several bands have pack in amps, electric pickups on the guitars (Curt Cobain anybody) etc, etc. But Satriani really did go naked. Even just him on real acoustic intruments and the drummer dude on a rhytmic egg(!) and a chair. Cudos for that!
