KJ - the continious saga

As mentioned in past blogposts, Knut Jørgen Røed Ødegaard has been under criticism by his colleagues. I've been reading through some of the comments and articles published on the net, and I found one really good one on forskning.no.

- just thought I'd share this -

KJ was on teh news again on Friday, where the criticism directed at him was brought up. Dude pulled the "envy" card, and was severely backed up by the host of the show.

Like I've said before; there are at least two separate issues here - whether or not actual scientists are envious of KJ's media exposure, and the issue of scientists bringing up flat out mistakes that KJ has perpetrated.

If KJ keeps being caught in bullshitting in his capacity as "science expert", this can't be taken lightly, and cannot be dismissed as jealousy from scientists who can't get to the front page by crying about how their former class mates used to beat them up in sixth grade. Dude needs to take care of bidness with regards to his factchecking.
