I think I'm gonna try to re-record it with the PreSonus + Cubase setup this summer and add some more solos and schtuff (like bass and perhaps a drum beat beyond the epic click track featured here). What say you Anders - do you want to add some bars of solos as well?

Anders Boogie
Haven't listened to this blatant rip-off of ZZ Top's La Grange and Satriani's Satch Boogie boogie song written on the occasion of Anders' bachelor party in quite some time.

Funny thing, I just had a listen to that tune a couple of days ago. For some reason I've put it on the desktop of my old computer.
Would be cool to hear some extra stuff in there, but don't expect anything from me before the loft is finished. My guitar stuff is packed away. But it would be cool if you could send me the tracks in separate files. Still have the other tracks as separate files.
....seeing as how it's such a standard progression and tuff, there's lots and lots I can add.
It'd be cool to have some of your playing on it as well, once you get your loft and gear together.
Sure; I'll send you the various tracks as separate files when I'm done.
How many bars of absolute shred are you planning to lay down?

Four bars of two hand tapping. The rest I'm just winging with some sweeped arpeggio in harmonic minor over the progression. You know, nuthin' fancy or anything.
:-D
Do think I need to put in some real time with the guitars after being away for so long before I can record anything. It's been a while...
Anwyay, that tune can be extented to go on forever.
...surely you need at least a 12'er of tapping to complete the progression before you segue into diminished tap-and-sweep arpeggios, followed by some alternate-picking string-skipping and a whammy bar finish.
So that's a cool 36 bars I can put you down for?
The whammy part might be a problem for me...
...you can emulate the effect by letting your guitar go out of tune slightly afster than you're currently doing :-D
LOL
Good one, chief.
