Sales language...

Car sales men do have a bad rap when it comes to sales pitches, but sometimes I'm pretty amused about the description on eBay... Like this old lady from the 'bay:

"Small scratches and abrasions thru out. Slight surface rust..."
"Slight surface rust?" Where? I can't see any? (No Wilhelm, they weren't made like this)
And the seller goes on:

"..fret board has color variation and well worn, small chips on base of the neck, no visible damage on neck."

Are you kidding me? Not only is the neck beyond repair, it's not even the original. It does not even have the right scale length; this is a 14 fret not a 12 fret neck like it should be. Imagine the intonation on this one..
I really don't know if this one is more funny or more sad...

Bwahahhahhaaaaaaaa.....

It's only been played by a li'l old lady in church every Sunday, right?

If the seller is gonna flat out lie like that, it'd be smart not to attach pictures. Unless he or she is a black suspender in Photoshop-Fu, that is...

What would these guitars look like with 24 frets, is what I wonder
