Brand building Swedish style...

So I took this snap shot on my way home the other day:

Am I the only one that sees the irony in this?

Excellent observation, bro!

Doesn't look good, though. But on the other hand - does the CEO of KIA drive one of their "cars"? If so, that might also look bad

Hey, do I need to remind you that Citroën is a french car?

Wilhelm said...

...I'm slippin' up, aren't I.

Damn french and whatnot

...did your request trigger the desired response there, Pavlov Jr.?

Yeah, you did good.

The photo is so ironc in many ways. The obvious one is that the service personell that keeps Volvo's trucks running don't trust their own cars. Second, you could argue that Volvo don't offer any cars like the Berlingo. But I'm betting that Ford (which owns a major part of Volvo) does. And even if the wanted a french car (who does?), they could have had a Renault, which Volvo owns. Oh well.

Strange the the bird hasn't commented on this one...

Renault doesn't own Volvo (they own Nissan)

Citroen is the best brand ever, that's a proven fact !!!!

Ford does have a car like the Berlingo...the name escapes me, but it's like the Stico cars, approximately.

P-diddy: Volvo and Renault merged in 1993, and are part of the Volvo brand (which also includes Nissan): http://www.volvo.com/group/global/en-gb/Volvo+Group/our_brand/

Citroën is the best brand if you like to spend your days as an amateur car mechanic...

Anders laying the Smacketh Downeth like Dwayne Johnson on a good day.

Your Google-Fu is strong, oh nerdy one.

PS loved the amateur mechanic comment - that shit transcended the specific car brand joke altogether.
