Another sexist commercial...

I remember W-masters post about the double standards in the Bohus commercial, so when this ad in this weekends Dagbladet, were Bricks Personell wants to hire plumbers, I just had to post it! I'm not sure if they're trying to be funny or not. If they are, they sure fail miserably. And the fact that they have included models agency, called Glamstars, does not in any way help convince me that this is meant as a joke. Basically this is good ol' fashion sexism, but it might just be stupid enough for them to get away with it.

Edit:
After checking out their webpage, it seems that Bricks Personell has made it their trademark to have borderline sexist ads:
Yeah, really creative guys. You guys are really "naughty" (rampete) indeed.
What's next? Oh, why not top it off with a little manly joke? Talk about brand building...

Dayum! There's nothing even remotely borderline about those ads.

What a bunch of knuckle-dragging troglodytes. I'm thinking that hiring "glamour models" (aka walking, bubble gum-chewing blow-up dolls) is the only way the Bricks "guys" get to ogle scantily clad women without either being slapped the crap out of or paying some "professional" out of their pocket money.

I bet these "guys" couldn't get a hand-job if they walked into an all-women prison carrying a suitcase of cash and a big wad of signed pardons. Hell; I bet these "guys" couldn't even get action in Kristiansund.

What's up with the K-town hate these days, V-to-da-double?

Had some left-over K-town jokes, and saw this as a good opportunity as any to use them.

Why?

Are those jokes? I tought it was facts taken from the Kristiansund tourist information...

Well...YOU know, and I know that this is simply an accurate description of K-town on any given weekday, but other people still think I exaggerate.

Funny thing is; nobody who's ever been to K-town think I joke about it, and the only people who deny it are the ones who are from K-town.

Double-damn....I actually read that "manly" joke on their website.

That's ten seconds I'll never have back.

Jepp. Marius Andrè Mek is the guy that makes the jokes on "Rorbua" seem intelligent and funny...
