How much do Americans know about 9/11?

Thanks to Marius for bringing this segment of "Chaser's War On Everything". It's either really funny or really depressing, depending on your point of view:

Now just to make it clear; I am under no illusions that a random selection of Norwegians would fare any better either on 9/11 or any local matter. All you need in order to purge yourself of any such illusion is to watch a teelvised debate show like Tabloid and pay attention to the text messages at the bottom of the screen, alternatively listen to the call-in's at the end of the show. Scary stuff.

I think this is a mix of ignorance and nerves when getting jumped by cameras, and theen trying/failing to say something smart when you're on TV.

But that excuse isn't valid for those people sending in text messages on Tabloid. I'm all for monitoring the phone lines into Tabloid, and the people responsible for those messages should have all their voting rights suspended. In fact, I feel I'm getting stupid just by watching that crap, and I'm considering sueing TV2 for non-pecuniary damage. Anybody want's to join in?

I second that motion. At least they should have to pass some form of written test to regain their voting privileges. ;-)

Sure; 'cause it's ever been a case in the history of the universe where the situation got improved by involving lawyers in a class action suit against a corporation
