Flickr some mo'

Time to spam the blog with a selection of flickr updates. I'm not sure whether it was me or my wife who shot the "clouds" photo - taken from our front porch. The cherry blossom picture is from our garden. Didn't really see myself as the kind of guy to take flower pics, but there you go..

And choosing a "cherry blossom" for your motif (and knowing its name) doesn't make it sound any better...
;-)

Actually, I'm a sucker for those photos where the main motif is sharp in the front while the background is a blur. I've sometimes corrected that in Photoshop on some of my photos. Good job.

....it's a cherry tree, and there were flowers coming out of it. I'm just speculating here, but I think cherry blossom is the way to go nomenclature-wise. :-)

Checked out the updates on Flickr. What can I say, I think you take good photos. I think my favorite this time is the "contrast" one. The one on with the seagulls on the piles had potential as well. And the "Four Seasons" photos were are great concept!

Thanks.

The four seasons-schtick looked SO much better IRL than what I managed to capture though

Where's my last comment?

Maybe some careful photoshop editing would make the four season theme more clear. And I'm confident that you're nerdy enough to pull it off...
:-D

..your last comment? Didn't do nuthin', dude.

As for the PhotoShop, you're sadly mistaken. My nerdness - profound as though it may be - does not extend to PhotoShop. I used to be able to work with InDesign, but my PhotoShop skillz are limited to being able to free-rotate scanned images.

Alrighty then, maybe the four season effect would be enhanced by slightly rotating the photo?

It never showed up. Maybe I forgot to click publish comment before running off to the lab. Damn work getting in the way of my blogging; this gotta end now!
