Class of '89 reunion?

So I'm starting to get invitations and info pertaining to my junior high school reunion. What is the customary thing to do here, considering that a) I'd have to travel quite a bit to get to the "event", b) the sum total of people from this class roster I'm currently in touch with is zero, and c) the "event" is set to occur just around the time when my wife and I are expecting our firstborn.

Decisions, decisions.....

On a side note, the number of misspellings in the ~35 words that made up the official invitation letter make me inclined to believe that I've made it OK despite what junior high school I've went to rather than because of it...

  1. ...It was the summer of '89
Me and some guys from school
had a band and we tried real hard...

...yeah, I'm sure your wife would be pleased if she's going into labour when you're miles away partying with people you knew some 20 years ago...
    ;-)

Side note: None of the school I went to have had reunions. Ever. Or let me rephrase that: I haven't been invited to any reunions from the schools I went to.

  4. ..are you suggesting that the organizing committees for any class reunions didn't put much effort into locating Anders, Pigeon?

  6. ....in the sense that even if you're paranoid it don't mean that you're not being followed?

  8. Yes, and we're heading for "Det Store Korslaget" on TV2 tomorrow! Vote for Team Pigeon and The One Man Norwegian Tabernacle Choir!

  9. ...considering the alternatives, I'd consider voting for y'all.

These are not choires so much as they are random collections of people who sing the same songs simultaneously

It takes a one man voting crew to push a one man choir over the top and go all the way!
    :-)

What a crappy show that is. In fact, there are nothing worth watching in the weekends any more. At least not of the regular shows on the main stream channels.

Hence our cunning plan of having just one man singing. That will surely separate us from the masses, and make us a sure winner. Remember to place your bet early!

    Have a nice weekend!

  16. The Norwegian choir environment has not been the same the last ten years, or so.

  17. Remind me again, T-bombz: Is it about 10 years since you quit your career as a choir boy?
